Ravindra Kumar Chhajer – Managing Director
A young and dynamic personality, Ravindra began his professional journey with graduation in B.Com (Honours) from Delhi University in 1992.
He soon joined his father Mr. Abhay Raj Chhajer’s plywood trading business at Paharganj in Delhi. The first big achievement came with the launch of Ascent Industries to manufacture boilers and dryers at Vatva, Ahmedabad in 1998.
His association with Ambica Hydraulics began in 2004 as he took up the responsibility of the company’s marketing and finance. His knowledge and past experiences helped the company to hog limelight as he extensively traveled and participated in the exhibitions globally. Ambica Hydraulics under his leadership continues to claim big market shares across India and in other Asian regions.
Ravindra pursued his dream by setting up a 120cbm Particle Board Plant at Matar, Kheda near Ahmedabad in 2008. He is also a Laminate Manufacturer Supplier Association member and continues to achieve big.
An extremely health-conscious sports lover, he prefers boiled food and can be seen playing badminton at YMCA club. Kudos to his ability to maintain balance between family life, foreign trips and professional growth!
Umesh Rathi – Chief Executive Officer
Ambica Hydraulics is privileged to have Mr. Umesh Rathi as a key player in the company’s strategic growth and evolving presence. His post-graduation degree in specialization in MSC from Bombay University in 1968 paved way for a glittering career as he made valuable contributions working on different posts with the reputed firms like Sarda Plywood India Limited, WoodCraft Assam Limited, Arunachal Plywood Industries Limited, Strong Steel Private Limited and Samrat Plywood Industries Limited.
It was in 2007 that he joined as the CEO with Ambica Hydraulics and since then, he is responsible for extending the company’s endeavor to deliver quality.
A keen chess and badminton player, Umesh utilizes his vast industry experience to develop unique strategies and take mission-critical decisions to help company achieve the anticipated levels of success.
Ankit Chhajer – Plant Management
A great understanding of the market and talent to translate customer requirements into production strategies set Mr. Ankit Chhajer apart.
He graduated in specialization in B.Com (Honours) from SLCC, Ahmedabad in 2003. His humble beginning as a management trainee with Ambica Press Group proved the perfect launch pad as there has been no looking back since then.
The first milestone was achieved as certification from Bosch Rexroth in the field of Industrial Hydraulics.
Ankit at present shoulders the responsibility of plant management at Ambica Hydraulics Pvt. Ltd. Much like his elders, he flaunts passion, confidence and ability to grow by acquiring knowledge and experience and has a cheerful and magnetic personality.
